ariel maniki and the black halos ist das neue projekt (aus der sich 2010 aufgelösten goth-rock band draconian incubus) des gitaristen ariel, unterstützt wird er dabei von josh choi und janice black.

Ariel Maniki and the Black Halos is a musical statement originary from and based at the republic of costa rica in central america. leaded by songwritter, multi-instrumentalist and producer ariel maniki who started the project back in 2014.

the current line-up is completed by josh choi on guitars, chris arias on bass and janice black on keyboards, however other several project members and colaborators have taken some part on shaping it up to its nowadays form.

mostly inspired and influenced by the gothic rock and darkwave scene from the 80's and 90's am&tbh's music is known by its continuos evolving and changing atmospheres and styles from one song to another. there is a consistent prescense of synths as well as of rock guitars as the main elements of this pop-rock merging experience. still is hard to appoint a label for its music beyond "alternative".
